Built in the 1820s, the property is a barn conversion which has been carried out with great care and attention to detail making it perfect for family friendly holidays. The accommodation comprises of a large open plan kitchen/living area covering the entire ground floor of the property and upstairs there are two bedrooms and two shower rooms, one of which is en-suite.
French doors lead into the large farmhouse-style kitchen/dining/living area, which is very well furnished with everything you will need. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and dishwasher. There is a large dining table and chairs, comfortable sofas and a door leading out to the private patio area with wooden outdoor furniture and a gas barbeque.
The ground floor is tiled throughout and features exposed wooden beams and original Charentaise stone walls which keep the gîte lovely and cool in the summer.
The main bedroom has an antique French double bed (140cms wide), with a modern sprung mattress. There is a chest of drawers and an area to hang your clothes. There is a small en-suite shower room with, a hand basin and toilet.
The twin bedroom next door has two single beds, wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Both bedrooms benefit from fitted carpets and have one wall featuring pointed Charentaise stone. There are fans in both bedrooms and a hairdryer.
The second shower room is at the end of the landing and has a hand basin and toilet.
